Machine Repair Technician III

Our team in East Aurora is looking for a Machine Repair Tech III to join them. You will report to the Machine Maintenance Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule. The ideal candidate would have a background as a Field Service Engineer or in Machine Tool Repair. Experience working in an automated environment with these backgrounds would also be helpful.

To be considered for a Machine Repair Technician III, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

         Associates degree in Electrical Technologies or related field (or equivalent experience) plus 3 years of progressive experience repairing CNC Machine tools as a primary occupation.

         A successful candidate will be an experienced troubleshooter and have a thorough understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems commonly found in the following machines: Okuma, Mazak, Nakamura, Star, Mori, Sodick, and Mitsubishi

          

As a Machine Repair Technician III, you will:

         Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery while supporting Moog's production requirements.

         Have the opportunity to be a part of a new automated initiative at Moog where you will work alongside distributors, suppliers, and their technicians, to install new equipment and receive hands on training on the repair of automated machines.

         Assist in the installation and upgrades of new machines, including automated machines.

         Be given the opportunity to occasionally travel and be trained by factory certified professionals to learn state of the art repair techniques as required for this position.

         Document work logs, inventory usage and hours worked using company database systems.

         Work in different settings which may be difficult and/or physically demanding at times.

         Learn, understand, and follow all safety standards.

Salary Range:

         The base pay range for this opportunity is $60,736.00- $108,804.80 per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
