Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler Level II, 1st shift (9/80 schedule) to join them. You will report to the Operations supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

The 9/80 schedule for 1st shift hours: 6:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm on Friday & Every other Friday off.

To be considered for the Assembler Level II, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

·                  High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

·                  3 years or more of experience in a related industry preferred

·                  Experience with mechanical controls

·                  Blueprint reading 

·                  Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)

 

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler II, you will:

·           Perform mechanical work by assembling equipment in accordance with specified procedures in an assembly line.

·           Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.

·           Use of basic hand tools, such as sockets, screwdriver, torque tools, wrenches etc.

·           Keep records of production quantities and time.

·           Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts.

·           Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

·           Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

·           Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

·           Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Salary Range:

Pay range for this opportunity is $17-$24 per hour 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits. 

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
